Capptions has successfully completed its SOC 2 Type II audit. Unlike a Type I report, which evaluates controls at a single point in time, Type II validates that those controls operate effectively over an extended observation period.
What was assessed
Our SOC 2 Type II report covers the AICPA Trust Services Criteria most relevant to our customers:
- Security - protection against unauthorized access, both physical and logical
- Availability - system uptime, monitoring, and incident handling
- Confidentiality - handling of sensitive customer information
Why this matters for HSE and ESG teams
Auditors, procurement, and IT security teams increasingly require SOC 2 Type II as a precondition for adopting cloud-based platforms. This is especially true for Seveso and BRZO-classified sites, where the EHS system holds inspection records, corrective-action history, and the documentation your veiligheidsbeheersysteem (VBS) depends on. A vendor that can't prove sustained security discipline is a harder sell to your own risk and IT teams, regardless of how good the inspection features are.
