Why attach media files or links as instructions to a task?
A help/ informative text field is a field type in the form builder that allows you to share critical information or add context to help users understand how to complete the task with more in-depth knowledge. This can be presented in the form of a few sentences, a link to an external file, media files in the form of a PDF document, or images to communicate more visually.
Before we get started
Take note
- You can only attach media files or links as instructions to a task if you are the "Owner" or "Admin" of the organization
- Attach media files or links as instructions to a task can only be done via the web portal
Attach media files or links as instructions to a task.
Step 1: Sign in to the Capptions Direct web portal
Sign in to your Capptions Direct account using the link
Step 2: Select an organization
Click on the drop-down arrow in the screen's top left-hand corner. From there, select your organization.
Step 3: Click on Templates
Step 4: Click on the "Edit" tab of a form template or create a new one
Step 5: Click "Add new field." within an existing or a new section
Step 6: Select the "Informative text" field type
Step 7: Add images/ documents/ links
Next to the "Text Value" section, you will see the following icons 
click on the desired icon to insert either an image, document, or link.
Step 8: Publish the form and update the workflow
Click on the 'Publish' button on the top-right of the form screen to update your workflow.
